This cosmetic glitch lets you momentarily turn into a spirit or NPC. The steps to follow will differ based on which spirit you want to become and where you want it to happen. For specific examples, see below. However, once you get the hang of it feel free to explore different options yourself! For all spirits you will have to follow this pattern:

1. Use a Memory candle spell and start recording.
2. Hard freeze (by turning your power off or by leaving the app) for about 3-5 seconds.
3. Come back in the game and stop the recording.
4. Redo steps 2 and 3. If you fail the glitch, your character might turn into a base game moth instead. Simply try again!
5. If you want to make the spirit emote, spam the chosen emote before/as you’re stopping the memory.

Trying different maps and different paths will give different results, and the spirits you can trigger tend to change with each new update.
