This trick allows you to create a warp-point to a location by using a shared memory spell and the camera prop.

  1. Take out your camera before (or immediately after) starting recording your share memory.
  2. Start the recording and wait a few seconds before exiting the camera mode.
  3. Warp to the spot you want to show in your recording (usually by warping to a friend there), and take out your camera prop.

When someone views your memory, the camera button will be there during the first few seconds (step 2) but not during the rest of the memory (step 3). But if the viewer taps the button during the start of the memory, they'll automatically get back into camera pov when camera is used later in the memory.

NOTE

Long distance warping is currently inconsistent. The trick is better for shorter distances, such as crossing a door. For long distances, try this workaround by Vic (Polish):

  1. Standing close to the camera shared memory you'll be using, start casting a shared memory spell.
  2. Right before your spell is finished casting, play the memory.
  3. After your spell is finished casting, click the camera button in the memory you're watching.
  4. Start recording such that at the end of the 3-second windup you're in the spot you wish to warp to. It needs to be a valid shared memory start location.
