  1. Place down the instrument stand.
  2. Choose cello or violin.
  3. Execute slide from standing such that you can comfortably slide by the stand at slow speed. If you are close enough after the jump to prepare the slide, you don't need to move and can simply use the instrument stand (4 can be skipped).
  4. Click the instrument stand button while sliding.
  5. Close the instrument keyboard.
  6. To end the effect, remove the instrument stand.

This makes the game treat you as if you were constantly sliding. If you use the instrument stand while not sliding, the slide storage you'll enter will be mostly visual and its effects will be mostly adverse (no vertical flight or freefall). Executing the technique as described will make vertical flight and freefall the default, not requiring any extra preparation aside from any momentum while slide storage is active. One drawback is leg drag being locked, meaning no chibi fall.
