- Start at Hermit Valley where there are no clouds (near the Hermit’s Hut) with a friend with warp unlocked.
- There is a fast and controlled version for step 2, pick the one you’re most comfortable with:
- Use the rocket glitch. As soon as you depart, start a timer. Once the screen changes color from blue to red, stop the timer and count down the amount of time on the timer before stopping the rocket (ex: if it takes 30 seconds to rocket up before the color change, wait 30 seconds after it has changed colors before letting go of your friend). Place your prop.
- Fly up in closed wing mode until the sky changes color (use the flight regeneration trick). Once the sky changes color, keep flying between 40-100 more flaps and stop. Place your prop there.
- Either use the ground warp glitch or go home and teleport to your friend to get back to the ground.
- On the ground, make sure you are near the Hermit’s Hut where the snow has a pink and not blue tint. Warp back to our friend. If you did everything right your screen will turn white OR the sun will have a sudden colorful flare. If there is no change, you either need to gain more altitude or change your position on the ground. If there is a change, follow the appropriate step:
- You now need to pick the color you want: going home during a white sky will give bright purple/blue colors, a yellow sky gives green/yellow colors, a red sky gives red and black sky gives black colors. Go home during the chosen color.
- If the sun has a colorful flare, all you need to do to get the white screen is to keep flying up. You can try to time the color screen here but it’s less reliable and isn’t recommend. My advice is to relocate the altitude of your prop to the place where you got the white screen and try again.
- The glitch should now color your screen!

NOTE
Your altitude can have an impact on the color, with a higher altitude creating warmer colors.
FPS settings can affect the glitch. 1 lightning bolt will give you more white screen time but the result is often less colorful, whereas three bars will create the most colorful glitch.
